My Batik Art

Slade’s Batik Artwork

Did you capture the beauty of the shapes, patterns, texture and natural symmetry of the rock pool creature you observed?
Yes

How?
I did the patterns in a circle and I did lines across and down and dots on the chiton.

Was it hard for you to transfer the patterns from your observational drawing to your batik?
Yes because you have to draw with the wax and using the tool was hard. The patterns were so hard they had different shapes in the patterns

I think I followed the shapes really well

Here we are off to our assembly and we will perform the haka! The girls will do a poi dance. it has been fun practising.

I am looking at the picture to ensure my whare looks real!

Pretty good Mrs. H!
I am writing the numbers that come before or after any teen number.
